.....The BIG Kit Car Buyer’s Guide was written by two industry veterans, Harold Pace and Jim Youngs.
.....Harold Pace is generally recognized as the guru of old kit cars. In fact, he authored another National Kit Car Club book, “The BIG Guide to Kit and Specialty Cars,” the most comprehensive history of kit cars ever written. In addition, Harold is a frequent contributor to Kit Car Builder magazine and several other specialty car publications. He also races vintage kit cars and is in the process of building up a 50s-era Devin SS which was never assembled.
.....Jim Youngs is the Director of the National Kit Car Club and Editor of the club’s magazine, Kit Car Builder. Jim was the editor of Petersen’s Kit Car magazine for 5 years and freelanced for the magazine for 5 years prior to becoming its editor. He is also a gearhead and has personally built 4 kit cars, assisted on numerous other build-ups and regularly tinkers with some resto-mod, old production car projects.
